Don Willis Furniture Opens 4th Store Near Federal Way
Paul and Debbie Willis have opened a new Don Willis Furniture store near Federal Way. Founded in 1948, Don Willis Furniture is a family run and owned business– with 4 stores: Lake City, Ballard, Tacoma and now near Federal Way.
Don Willis Furniture only stocks real wood furniture, specializing in furniture made right here in the Northwest. With their own manufacturing company they can also custom make just about anything. In addition, upholstered goods are now available.
The space, formerly occupied by Allwood Furniture, has been updated with new carpet, paint and signs, and new lines of furniture, with more changes to come. “People have sort of smiled at us opening a new business in a recession, but Deb and I live in this area and want to help add strength to the economy in addition to new jobs,” says Paul Willis.
Debbie Willis, board member for the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce, is excited about bringing fresh new options for home furnishing needs to the greater Federal Way area. “What we offer is superior in quality to most of what is available, and at affordable prices.”
